What amazes me is that we can sit here and be shocked and dismayed. We do nothing to change the conditions that allow for these horrific crimes to persist. It is our very culture that sets the environment for crimes like these to take place. Just look at how many people were aware that something was up with Sandusky and people blew it off. Do these things really happen in a vacuum? I don't think so. There is always someone who knows something. We are just to content to make excuses and settle for mediocrity in our lives. Bless that beautiful, innocent soul...... It is "US" who are not deserving of her love, light and innocence....
